Jr. High Advanced Math - Mrs. Petz

6th grade is studying different types of graphs.  Here they are with a human Box and Whisker graph.  The graph shows the lengths of their first and last names combined.

Michigan Mathematics League Competition
The results for our school our in.  It will be another two to four weeks before we know where we stand in our region.  Our score is the score of our top 5 students for each grade.
For eighth grade, 1st place, AJ Zervoudakis, 2nd place, Will Bottema, 3rd place, Sarah Wallick and tied for 4th/5th places, Chris Collins and Rylan Jaglowski
For seventh grade, 1st place, Karly Sullivan, tied for 2nd/3rd place, Kate Bennett and Kelly Weiss, 4th place, Rachel Gutting, tied for 5th place, Jon Swain and Caroline Brom
For sixth grade, tied for 1st/2nd place, Michael Klein, Egan Simmons, 3rd place, Brielle Jaglowski, 4th place, Ally Baysore, tied for 5th place, Sean Leonard and Patrick Korte

Euchre Tournament is in progress!

By request, the Pi Recitation contest will be held again this year on Monday, March 15 (the day after Pi Day)!  Enter to compete in the 1st - 4th grade level or the 5th - 8th grade level group.  See Mrs. Petz for copies of the digits of pi.  Start practicing those digits!

Snack Shop
New item!!!  Pringles Potato chips!  We also have cheese crackers, salami sticks, beef jerky, fruit roll-ups, Gardetto mix, Fritos, Chex Mix, flaming hot cheetos, cheese sticks, Kool-aid juicers and water all for $.50!  We also have organic all fruit Clif twisted fruit sticks, pizza combos and sunflower seeds for $.75.  Fruit snacks and Slim Jim’ s for $.25!  Come and try some of our yummy and nutritious snacks!
