Mrs. Hoolsema’s Kindergarten Class

Welcome to Kindergarten!

It is hard to believe we are coming upon the end of this school year. I am proud of the academic progress the children have made this year. They have played, shared and learned to be a part of school. Parents, thank you for sharing your child with us. The families at St. Paul the Apostle School help to make our school a wonderful gem!

New life is bursting forth everywhere. It is a joy to see the excitement of the Kindergartners when they see a robin on the playground or a new flower in bloom. They are grateful for all of God’s creations. May your family enjoy Spring and the Easter season.

For our final Family Project this year, each family is asked to create a timeline of their Kindergartner’s life. Parents, please help your child select 4 – 6 important moments in their life. Each event should have a picture (photo or drawn) with a description of the event. Finally, assemble the pictures of each event all together. When the timelines are returned to school, they will be hung in the hallway.

Family projects this year were intended to be a fun way to spend quality time together as a family, share creativity, and for the children to learn to stand in front of the class as a presenter and share their projects. We hope each family has enjoyed our projects as much as we have.
