Music Curriculum

The music curriculum followed at SPA was developed by music educators teaching in our diocesan schools. The curriculum consists of program goals, grade level goals and content criteria. The content criteria includes objectives in the following areas;

• rhythm
• melody
• harmony
• form
• tone color and expressive qualities

Instructional criteria has also been developed for some grade levels.

The curriculum is the property of the Diocese of Grand Rapids.
